He also serves as a Practitioner Lecturer in the Master of Business Law program at Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. His practice focuses on delivering practical and commercially driven legal solutions aligned with business objectives. He regularly advises leading multinational corporations and major Indonesian business groups, including prominent clients such as Bitget Group, Daimler Group, Nissan Group, AkzoNobel Group, Signify Commercial Group (Philips Lighting), MAERSK Group, Panasonic Group, YKK Group, Merdeka Group, Bakrie Group, Salim Group, and Pertamina Group.
Prior to founding B.Av, Hamdi honed his craft as a corporate lawyer at HHP Law Firm (Baker McKenzie), one of Indonesia's leading law firms. He also served as a Commissioner of a multinational shipping company, giving him a unique perspective that bridges legal strategy with boardroom-level decision-making.

In 5 October 1961, the Hague Conference on Private International Law Conference organized a Convention on Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Document (Apostile Convention). Indonesia is not a party to the Apostile Convention; therefore, a longer procedure needs to be taken to use of the Indonesian documents abroad and foreign documents in Indonesia.

Under the Minister of Industry Regulation No. 38 of 2018 and the Minister of Industry Regulation No. 15 of 2019, the licensing services for industrial companies are provided through the Online Single Submission system (OSS system) and National Industrial Information System (SIINas).

Foreign investment for non-financial services sector in Indonesia is generally regulated under Law No. 25 of 2007 on Investment (Investment Law) and specifically regulated under the relevant government institution regulations and policies.

On 30 September 2019, the President enacted Presidential Regulation No. 63 of 2019 on the Utilization of Indonesian Language, which clearly obliges any agreement involving an Indonesian party to be made in Indonesian language, or at least in dual language.

On 11 October 2018, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (MOLHR) and the Ministry of Economic Coordinator (MEC) issued a joint announcement requiring every Indonesian company to adjust the wording of its business activities recorded in the Legal Entity Administration System with the applicable Industrial Standard Classification Code (KBLI).
